Stephen McGrath

Stephen McGrath (MA) is an Irish bass player, podcaster, content creator and music educator. As a touring musician, he has played at such festivals as Glastonbury and supported acts like ZZ Top and Walter Trout with his band Crow Black Chicken, who also appeared on Balcony TV in Ireland and abroad. Stephen also hosts the" Basscraft" podcast, which aims to highlight Irish bassists and other internationally renowned players. The podcast has already hosted such bass luminaries as Jeff Berlin, Paul Bushnell and many more. In his role as a music educator, he posts bass tutorials on social media and also heads up the rock and pop program for Music Generation Tipperary. Stephen recently completed a Master's in performance at Cork School of music.
